Relationships are work! You have to learn everything you possibly can about your partner. In order for any relationship to be a success your job is to make your spouse as happy as you can. And vice-verse, both of you have to put in a lot of work.
I'm speaking from experience! I have only been in one serious relationship and that is current. I'm married but the marriage is falling apart. My spouse has been married 3 times.

Communcation is one of the keys to a successful relationship! Sounds easy but it's not because when you disagree with someone your brain tells you basicly to shut down. (this goes for someone you love) Reason being you do not want to argue that is only going to make it worse.
So what you need to try and work on is taking a little time out. Get away from each other for 30 minutes. This needs to be talked about in the beginning of your relationship. Set rules in advance so both of you are ready when a disagreement comes up.
And stick to it that is the only way it will work. Both of you have to agree on what the rules are. Remember your job is to make her happy and her job is to make you happy. As long as you try to live by that one simple thing you will always be ready to communcate.
Sounds easy but when your in the heat of the moment this stuff gets forgotten about. So we learned how to work disagreements out so far. Knowledge that's what it's all about and you need a lot of it to be in a healthy happy relationship.
But when you find that special person it's worth it. Having a partner to get through life with and build memories is priceless!
